Welcome to N.E.R.D. Youth Services, an organization based in the northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area that has been dedicated to creating facilities across America that will empower youth and young adults to become intelligent thinkers and determined doers and develop and strengthen the next leaders of our world. We develop and strengthen underserved populations of youth and young adults through holistic empowerment and support. Our mission is to provide these underserved populations with the resources and support that they need and deserve in order to unlock their potential and pursue successful futures.

Our programs and services include mentoring programs, K–12 tutoring, student-athlete study tables, lesson planning and classroom management professional development for educators, college tours, and more. We provide assistance to youth and young adults to help them reach academic, social, and personal success. This commitment to providing a wide range of quality services shows our dedication to helping young people reach their full potential.

The story of our organization starts with a basketball team of teenage youth in Gary, Indiana. We found ourselves naturally mentoring them through coaching and realized the need for an organization to serve the needs of inner-city youth. Our initial endeavors quickly grew to impact many youths from northwest Indiana to Chicago, Washington, DC, and Atlanta.

Our team of dedicated volunteers and partners has been hard at work, helping over hundreds of students in our many years of operation, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
